A2LA has accredited our facility in Chelmsford, MA for technical competence in the field of calibration. Our laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This laboratory also meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSLI Z540-1-1994 and any additional program requirements in the field of calibration. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system (refer to joint ISO-ILAC-IAF Communiqué dated 8 January 2009).
Our ISO 9001:2015 certificate is to expire on September 9, 2024.
Our AS9100D certificate is to expire on November 21, 2026.
The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register is a collaborative tool used by the UK aerospace, defence and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. Using JOSCAR can determine if a supplier is “fit for business”. The system was established following an initiative led by ADS Group and includes a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers. Holding common supplier information in a central system, the JOSCAR accreditation system allows information to be accessed by all participating buying organisations. HITEC Sensor Developments (Pvt) Ltd joined as a JOSCAR member in October 2020. This has enabled us to interact and work with primes in the A & D sectors as well as opening new avenues for new projects and new enquiries with other registered primes who see this registration as a prerequisite.
